she was in fact pregnant, but the puppies didn't make it and it brings me to tears that they didn't. Maybe she would have died instead of them, but i'll miss them. i named one Susie and the other Tom. they were precious, i feel like we were vigilant enough and if someone would have been home they would have survived, but we dont know if they spike did anything to them. I feel so bad for nala, her instincts as a mother were so sad to watch...i can't.
im happy she lived.
